Userforms provide a way of capturing user input.  These inputs can be stored in variables in a sub-procedure.  The sub-procedure is run from a button on the userform.  The first video on this page demonstrates how to set up a basic userform.  The example given is of a userform that asks for investment information: capital to invest, term and interest rate. The sub procedure that is run from the userform creates an investment projection based on this information.

The second video demonstrates how to include combo-boxes, lists and option buttons on your userform.
