Put Multiple Pictures, Side by Side, On One Page in a MS Word Document | Multiple Photos in a Table

In this video I demonstrate how to put multiple photos, images or pictures on the same page, side by side in a Microsoft Word document. I explore two methods you can use to achieve this.

Method 1: Change the Image Layout Option

By default images are ‘in line with text‘ which means you can’t freely move them around a document.  However, once you change the layout of the image to one of the text wrapping options you will find that you can drag the image around your document and position it as required.

Once you have positioned your images you might consider grouping them so that they can moved as resized as if they were one image.  Click here to see how I group the images.

Method 2: Using Tables to Position Pictures Side by Side

The second option is to put your pictures inside a table.  This gives you a lot more control in terms of positioning images side by side.  In the video I demonstrate how to position four images with equal space between them, horizontally and vertically.  This spacing can be precisely achieved by using the cell margin settings within a table.
